Maintaining a boss-employer relations has never been an easy task. Several things are to be kept in mind while dealing with bosses. Normally bosses around the world have found to be having similar types of qualities. So you ought to be very careful before you utter any words before your boss. Few tips are as follows.

“Its not my job” Most of the bosses are such a simple nature creatures that they simply assume that you will do what so ever you are asked to do. For example you are asked to accomplish any task which is beyond your job description, even then you should avoid to use phrase like “that’s not my job”. Rather you should try to think that if your boss has assigned you this task, there must be some valid reason for it. In case you don’t find yourself suitable for the job then you may suggest some appropriate reason and a substitute for that particular job.

“That’s not my headache” Simply saying that that’s not my problem or I don’t care, shows your careless attitude towards your job. Its better to stay quiet when you have nothing to say constructive.

“Not my fault please”These four words can very easily be avoided. We humans are naturally obsessed with a weird nature. Denying something over and over makes you suspicious of having it done. Main thing is to fix the problem and solve the issue, rather then blaming others.

“Oh God! Multitasking” Never make the mistake of complaining that you are over burdened with a number of tasks and you are suffering work load. This will impart a very bad impression at your boss like you resent your job, you are not up to your job and eventually he will feel sorry for you.

“Oh that’s an easy job” Making others realize that you have been assigned an easy job is simply showing of that you ate very brilliant and others are not. This moreover gives an impression that the work assigned is stupid. Generally bosses don’t like to hear words like “its very easy” or the work is stupid etc. Even the stupid and easy work needs to be done by anyone! Or not?

“Oh No! This cannot be done” Refusing anything impossible by naming it that it cannot be done is simply reflecting your own incapability and inefficiency. This thing will also go against you. Its better to say that we will find out some solution or we will try to accomplish the task etc. but simple terming the task impossible is just like showing a red flag to your bull boss. Come up with some new ways, ideas to reach the aim. Believe me bosses don’t like to hear the word impossible.

"It can't be done." Saying something can't be done is like waving a red flag in a boss's eyes. Even if the thing being suggested truly is impossible, saying it is can make you look ineffectual or incapable. Better to play detective. Why is the boss asking you to do whatever it is? What's the problem that needs to be solved? What's the goal? Search for doable ways of solving that problem or reaching that goal. That's what bosses really want. Most of them do not expect the impossible.
